Joe Rayome is an American artist living in New York City and signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.

 

His work spans the boundary of impressionism and realism, with a focus on light and compositional balance.  Inspiration is drawn from everyday life and varying subjects, 

often focusing on where the natural world meets the man-made.  He believes good

paintings express personality, and in the notion that interest is as important as 

inspiration.

 

His award-winning paintings and sketches have attracted both private and corporate

attention and can be found in collections throughout the US and beyond.  Recently, his painting Fall was used as cover art for Josh Flagg's album Tracing Shapes.
